Vertical lift systems always focus on optimal utilization of the available room height. The design principle, which allows trays to be stored one on top of the other up to 24 m high, gives you plenty of space for your warehouse items. The SSI LOGIMAT® can be delivered in heights of 2,450 mm and above, and can be adapted to your room height in 100 mm increments. A simple formula applies here: the taller the lift module, the greater the storage area. Cost-effectiveness and the price per square meter of floor space also decrease as the overall height increases.
You can consistently avoid wasted space, as the principle of intelligent height optimization maximizes the number of trays in the storage system. The height of the tray and its contents are measured after each warehouse procedure. Because it is possible to store trays in the vertical lift module in 25 mm increments, the system is able to find the perfect storage space for the material in question. As well as saving space, this feature brings maximum flexibility. As the requirements and the goods that are stored change over time, you and your SSI LOGIMAT® can react to changes in the height of the goods at any time. This requires neither mechanical intervention nor programming. The vertical lift module does it all for you, because it automatically measures the height of the trays during every warehouse procedure.
Along with height optimization, the experience gained from the many projects that have already been implemented shows that with the right bins, it is possible to achieve additional consolidation of more than 50%. The objective is to accommodate the maximum number of SKUs on every single tray. The idea behind this is based on finding the ideal bin size for each of your items. Firstly, it helps to have suitable bins that can be partitioned. SSI SCHAEFER has therefore developed the LMB bin series, which is perfectly coordinated with the SSI LOGIMAT®. Secondly, by applying software-assisted warehouse strategies, it is possible to increase the utilization and filling rate of the individual bins, to aclhieve the maximum possible consolidation.
