Data Collection per Edge Device

We carry out comprehensive condition-based monitoring to provide a transparent overview of the condition of your system. Relevant data is collected directly from your machines. To transfer these to our WAMAS Maintenance Center for further processing, we use an edge device (Siemens Nanobox) in the control cabinet. This is connected to both the control system and the cloud.

Our edge device meets the highest IT security standards and is compatible not only with all SSI SCHAEFER products, but also with hardware from third-party suppliers. The device can be installed quickly and easily via plug-and-play – during operation, without bringing the system to a standstill.
 

Data Analysis in WAMAS Maintenance Center

In WAMAS Maintenance Center, our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), everything important comes together: The operating data from the edge device, information on your system from WAMAS Control Center as well as statistical thresholds and global data from the cloud.

The smart tool evaluates the consolidated data using AI-based machine learning algorithms and provides you with indications of potential problems using pattern and anomaly detection. The time and type of maintenance work required can thus be planned precisely and predictive maintenance can be managed efficiently.
