Flow Racks to Ensure the FIFO Principle
Flow racks ensure the efficient storage and retrieval of goods that must be handled according to the "First In, First Out" (FIFO) principle. Depending on the design, these racks consist of slightly inclined shelves or gravity rollers on which the goods are placed. SSI SCHAEFER offers these as pallet and pallet flow racks. FIFO principle: Flow racks enable the automatic rotation of goods, as the products stored first automatically slide to the front. Newer goods are automatically placed behind them and the oldest stored goods are removed first.
