This versatile solution, which includes a dedicated smart software, boasts advanced functions such as pick-and-place, object recognition using artificial intelligence (AI), a patented gripping point determination, and extremely gentle product handling. The portal robot picks from two source to three destination positions and has a greater range compared to an articulated arm robot. Depending on the operating mode, as well as the size and weight of the items, up to 1,200 picks per hour can be achieved.
