High-Bay Warehouse and Picking Tunnel

For fast movers

The 10-aisle high bay warehouse with picking tunnel accommodates 18,000 pallets. The pickers are guided by software and pick directly into roll containers and onto pallets. A second high bay warehouse serves as temporary storage. Future expansions with additional high bay warehouse aisles are possible.

Pre-zone

After goods-in, the pallets are transferred to one of the ten aisles of the high bay warehouse on a pallet conveying system.

Storage process

Pallets are stored and retrieved fully automatically by energy-efficient storage-retrieval machines, type Exyz. During retrieval, the pallets are made available for picking on gravity roller conveyors.

Picking tunnel

The HBW and the ASPW supply the staging positions in the picking tunnel. Here, the cases are manually picked onto the corresponding roller containers and pallets.
