New Managing Director for ANZ

Brett Thirup has been appointed Managing Director, Schaefer Systems International Pty Ltd, Australia and New Zealand effective April 1. In his decade-long professional career at SSI SCHAEFER, Brett has contributed strongly to the growth and success of our Australian and New Zealand business, especially in the business units Products & Equipment and Logistics Solutions. He has also managed the establishment of a strong local competence in project realisation.

Brett has been in the logistics automation industry for over 25 years. Brett’s strong management capabilities and experience in the industry ideally place him to manage the further development of SSI SCHAEFER ANZ into the future.

Brad Welsman, Managing Director of SSI SCHAEFER ANZ for the past 10 years, will be remaining part-time with the Australian business, as an executive director, and will continue to contribute to key customer projects.
