Weasel Lite Designer - End-User License Agreement

Please read this EndUser License Agreement (hereinafter "Agreement") carefully before downloading or using the Weasel Lite Designer (hereinafter "Application"). By downloading or using the Application, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
1. Definitions
Licensee means the individual or entity, including Licensee’s heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns, who receives the Application and its license.
Licensor means the respective company of the SSI SCHÄFER Group that delivers the apllication and its license to Licensee.
2. License
Licensor grants to Licensee the non-exclusive, perpetual, non-assignable right to use the Application solely for Licensee’s internal business operations.
Licensee may use and duplicate the Application only for internal business operations and may not make it available to unauthorized third parties. The license relates only to the use of the Application by Licensee for its own data processing.
Licensee may make and install a reasonable number of copies of the Application for back-up and archival purposes.
Licensee does not acquire any further entitlements to the Application, such as entitlements for updates, documentation and support for the Application.
3. Restrictions
Licensee agree not to, and you will not permit others to:
a) license, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the Application or make the Application available to any third part,
b) modify, port, adapt or translate the Application,
c) cause or permit reverse engineering, disassembly or decompilation of the Application, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code for the Application.
4. Third-Party Software
The Application uses the following third party software and libraries, for which individual license terms apply:
a) Apache Commons Logging
b) Apache FontBox
c) Apache PDFBox
d) Google Gson
These libraries are licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. You may obtain a copy of the License at

In connection with the use of OpenJDK we refer to the GNU General Public License, Version 2. We make use of the Classpath Exception, thus the provisions are only applicable to the unmodified linked libraries. You may obtain a copy of the GNU General Public License, Version 2 at

5. Liability and Warranty
Licensor will not be liable to licensee for any consequential damages, damages arising from third party claims, lost profits, lost data, lost use, lost savings, loss of anticipated revenue or any Exemplary, punitive, special or indirect damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Licensor does not guarantee that the Application will perform error-free or uninterrupted or that licensor will correct any or all program errors.
There are no express or implied warranties or conditions, including warranties or conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Licensor assumes no warranty that the Application conforms to licensee’s requirements.
