Better Safe Than Sorry: More Safety and Protection in Pallet Warehouses

Safety in the workplace also plays an important role in warehouses. In addition to the high stability and safety requirements, our PR 600 pallet racking offers a wide range of additional safety options. In addition, officially certified shelf inspectors can carry out the prescribed safety checks on request.

• Galvanized mesh rear wall cladding secures the rear sides of free-standing shelving against the falling of load units or stored goods. These consist of mesh panels in defined lengths and heights, which are combined with each other depending on the rack height and clear bay width.

• End locks help to prevent load units from falling sideways.

• Push-through protection devices prevent load units from falling out unintentionally. They are required for double shelving if the distance between the load carrier or load unit is less than 100 mm.

• Warehouse and storage location marking speeds up processes by guiding order pickers and forklift drivers to the correct storage location in the shortest possible time - with a clearly understandable guidance system that can be implemented quickly and easily. Additional information can be printed, e.g. storage areas, check digits, barcodes, position arrows. A wide range of fonts, basic colors and sizes for signs, labels, label holders and floor markings are available.

More safety for vulnerable areas 

Particularly vulnerable areas of pallet racking, e.g. passages or heavily frequented aisles, must be protected by corner guards or impact protection. All other rack uprights can be protected by collision or upright protection.
