SSI SCHAEFER Dubai is seeking a dynamic and experienced Export Sales Manager to join our Export team in Dubai, UAE, with a focus on the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manual and semiautomated intralogistics solutions and a proven track record in sales within the industry. This role is critical in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their intralogistics needs.

The key responsibilities of this role includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand our customer base within the MEA region.
     

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, understand market trends, and gather competitive intelligence specific to the MEA region.
     

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations throughout the MEA region.
     

  • Distributor Management: Develop and manage relationships with distributors to ensure effective sales and distribution of our intralogistics solutions.
     

  • Solution Selling: Understand client needs and present tailored intralogistics solutions, including automated storage and retrieval systems, conveying and handling systems, and warehouse management software.
     

  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations that demonstrate the value and benefits of SSI SCHAEFER’S solutions.
     

  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations and work closely with legal and financial teams to close deals that are beneficial for both the client and SSI SCHAEFER.
     

  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer service, to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
     

  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM tools, and provide regular updates to senior management.
     

  • Industry Networking: Represent SSI SCHAEFER at industry events, trade shows, and conferences within the MEA region to enhance our brand presence and generate leads.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the intralogistics, material handling, or related industry.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of intralogistics systems and solutions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.

  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the MEA region to meet with clients and attend industry events.

  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the MEA region are a plus.
