Automated high-bay deep-freeze warehouse in Austria

Founded in 1958, Hochreiter Fleischwaren GmbH processes and markets food products from its headquarters in Bad Leonfelden, Upper Austria. Since 2012, the Hochreiter Group has also included the subsidiary Condeli, based in neighboring Reichenthal.

The steady growth of the two companies soon pushed the storage capacities to their limits. The new production site in Reichenthal therefore needed a new high-bay warehouse for the frozen intermediate and finished products it produced itself. The company initially invested in the construction of a warehouse measuring around 7,500 m², the "inner part" of which was designed and implemented by SSI SCHAEFER.

2 SSI Exyz storage-retrieval machines with load handling device SSI Orbiter LHD for multiple depth storage

Approx. 100 m² large (in the high.bay warehouse at a height of 20 m) integrated platform for the deep-freeze evaporators
Deep-freeze and high-speed doors for the lock in the pre-zone and in the production area
